About Enkidu
Who is Enkidu?
Enkidu, the wildman turned hero from the ancient Epic of Gilgamesh, is more than just a mythical figure. To me, it symbolizes a way of living — one that embraces the raw, unrestricted experience of being alive. It’s about being conscious of our existence, present in every breath, and attuned to the profound essence of our humanity.
To live as Enkidu is to reject the shallow distractions of consumer culture and mindless entertainment. It means choosing substance over spectacle, depth over distraction. It’s a call to immerse ourselves in literature, art, and poetry that bridge cultural, geographical, and temporal divides, reminding us of our shared humanity.
Enkidu is about finding comfort in the quiet spaces, facing life without fear, and embracing truthfulness and kindness. It’s about trusting in ourselves and the universal energy that connects us all. It is a commitment to live fully, to embrace each moment, so that when our final breaths come, we can close our eyes with a contented smile, ready for the next adventure.

Who am I?
I'm a painter, designer, and storyteller based in Toronto, Canada. I go by the artist name "Enkidu," inspired by the wildman hero from the Epic of Gilgamesh — a symbol of raw, unrestricted humanity. I hope he'd approve of my choice.
Art has been my lifelong passion, a path I’ve walked for years, weaving stories that stretch from ancient truths to modern reflections. Through "Enkidu Artist Inc.," I create wearable art, paintings, sketches, and soon, books — pieces that are not just visually striking, but thought-provoking, meant to evoke the timeless pulse of human experience.
